Wedding day Poem

ನಿನ್ನ ಕನಸಿನ ಮೊಳಕೆಗೆ ನಾ ಭೂಮಿಯಾಗುವೆ!

ಮೊಳಕೆಯ ಚಿಗುರೆಲೆಗೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸುವ ಬೇರಾಗುವೆ;

ಚಿಗುರೆಲೆಯ ತುದಿ ಮೊಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ರವಿಯಾಗುವೆ!

ರವಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವಿಗೆ ದುಂಬಿಯಾಗುವೆ;

 

ದುಂಬಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಅಂದದ ಗೂಡಾಗುವೆ!

ಗೂಡು ಅಡಗಿಟ್ಟ ಸಿಹಿ ಹನಿಯಾಗುವೆ;

ಹನಿ ಹನಿ ಕೂಡಿದ ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಮಾಲೆಯಾಗುವೆ!

ಮಾಲೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊರಳ ಹುಡುಕುವ ರಾಜನಾಗುವೆ;

 

ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ಮಂಡಿಊರಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿ,

ನನ್ನ ಲೋಕದ ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಸುವೆ.

Birthday poem for Swathi when in US

Not a day passes by not thinking of you,

Lot of thoughts sway around in my mind;

It may be a dream or an illusion of you,

As I see and feel you standing by my side;

I hold your hand and look into your eyes,

Spin you round back into my arms;

Hug you gently as we look towards the sky,

A shooting star just passes by;

Make a wish dear, you have the world for you,

Ask for the sky or ask for the moon;

Today marks the day for a big celebration,

To make moments that lasts for generation.

Happy Valenties Day

Tears in your eyes as you see me come home,

Long rides on my back you like to roam;

Fear that makes you grab me tight,

Sticks, pillows and swords we use to fight;

A smile that pops up the dimple,

How cute you say words that are simple;

These are few things which make my day,

“I Love You Son”, Happy Valentines day.
