Dad

   Time and time you prove yourself,

   coz, just your presence makes me feel cozy.

   Thinking of the time when I lived by myself,

   forget the fun; even hell would have been easy.

  

   You gave me a shoulder when my eyes rained,

   be it sorrow or joy I shared.

   You filled me up when I had almost drained,

   and showed the world how much you cared.

   Whenever I’m lost; I think of you,

   it’s always been you who came for rescue.

   If ever they filter me from you,

   i’ll become useless and be called "Residue".

   I fought with you, you fought for me,

   taught me to perceive light over dark.

   Never leave me Dad, always be with me.

   if not for you there isn't any perk.
