                     Wedding-Day Sonnet

Farther we are, more so close our soles become,

When we come closer our heart’s beat like a drum;

Although you stay miles far away,

You come to smile in my dream every single day;

I see you no matter how far you are from me,

Can feel your breath hit me like waves in a sea;

Standing with outstretched arms that can’t reach,

I fall on my knees looking baffled at the peach;

Love brought us together as husband and wife,

Added a child to be a part of our life;

All I need is, you by my side,

I will dare to even swim against the tide;

Starting wedding day, every single day, there is one thing I failed to do;

That my angle, my love is, imagine my life without you;
